Kyle turns 4
Kyle wanted a hockey birthday party, so we had a hockey game in the driveway. He invited all of his friends from school, and his family of course. We had a candy hunt, played musical chairs, pinata, pizza and cake of course.
Terrible Two's for Miss Kenna Maive
Kyle turns 3 !
You may be wondering about Kyle's best buddy Zac - who is also his cousin. They are still best buddies and enjoy each other very much. Usually their meetings consist of them running up to one another, wrapping their little arms around each other and hugging.
Welcome Kenna Maive Dupill
"He looks just like his Dad" - were the first words I heard from the Dr. WHAT? His room is pink was all I could think. Curt would not dare look over the curtain, so I pleaded with a few nurses to tell me what was going on. There was a misunderstanding I was told I was having a girl. Then I hear "What a big girl weighing in at 9lbs".
At this point I am completely confused my entire pregnancy I was measuring small. I was told I was haiving a girl expecting her to be itty bitty, and I am being told he looks like his Dad, and I just had a toddler.

Kyle's last afternoon as an only child ~August 5, 2008
This was approximately 1 hour before my C-Section was scheduled at Magee Women's Hospital. Grandma and Pap were watching Kyle.

Yikes! It has been awhile.
A friend of mine sent me a blog tonight to a rather emotional page. I read all about someone else's life practically in tears, and it ignited something inside of me. Then I remembered I had started a blog when my first child was born, and realized I took the vow that I would always do the same for every baby I had after. Well, as every Mother knows too well when the second child comes nothing is the same. Kyle has a professional picture lingering in a beautiful frame all around the house (honestly he has a mantel above the fireplace in our bedroom -and my husband Curt has even made comments about) where poor baby Kenna has only the insane amounts of pictures that I took from my own Cannon that are still stuck on Snapfish. Anyway, needless to say I am slacking from the scrapbook to the play dates. Here I am again making another attempt to salvage the vow that I took - which is way OVER DUE considering little baby Kenna is now 2.
